You can probably name a song, or even sing a part of one, by the great Sir Elton John and his main lyricist Bernie Taupin. He has been a pre-eminent songwriter, singer, and collaborator for over fifty years. His music has been a part of so many significant events: Princess Diana’s funeral with “Candle in the Wind”, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”  from The Lion King, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield singing “Rocket Man” from the International Space Station, and many other songs that connect people to a time or a place or a memory. The Peterborough Singers with guest instrumentalists honour and celebrate the Songbook of Elton John!
