Guest Artists – Venabrass and Syd Birrell on organ

The Peterborough Singers’ return to performing for our audience is also the return to a well-loved tradition: Yuletide Cheer. The annual concert features sacred and secular music connected to the season, plus the wonderful sounds of Syd Birrell at the organ and brass ensemble Venabrass. And, of course, the choir! This year we’re excited to present a commissioned piece by composer Len Ballantine called “To Be Continued …” As the composer himself says, it’s “a message of hope, sometimes whimsical, sometimes serious, sometimes momentary, but always eternal.

Please note: The November 27, 2021 performance will be an abridged, 75-minute version of Yuletide Cheer with no intermission. While all audience and choir members will be masked, soloists will remove their masks when singing. As well, the first few rows of audience seating will not be available in order to maximize safety for all.

SOLD OUT! There will not be tickets available at the door.
