Verdi’s Requiem:

Saturday, May 6 | 7 p.m. | Emmanuel United Church (534 George Street North, Peterborough)
Tickets: $35 general admission; $10 students.

The Requiem is a monumental work from the composer of Aïda, La Traviata, and Rigoletto — and every bit as dramatic as those operas. You’ll hear a stellar cast of  renowned Canadian soloists, a double choir, and the ‘orchestra’ of Ian Sadler at the pipe organ — plus 12 brass players. Verdi’s Requiem stands out as one of the most-performed pieces of the choral repertoire, and there’s a reason for that — it’s magnificent and moving.

Guest Soloists: Leslie Fagan (soprano), Laura Pudwell (mezzo soprano), Ernesto Ramirez (tenor) and Jonathan Liebich (bass). Accompanied by Ian Sadler on the pipe organ and a full 12 piece brass orchestra.

Thank you to the sponsor of Verdi’s Requiem
