      • From highway 115 exit at County Road 28 (Fowler’s Corners). Turn right onto Lansdowne Street. Turn right at the church sign.
      • If driving on Lansdowne from the east turn left two short exits after the lights at the Clonsilla intersection. You will see the church sign at the front of the property as well as a tall tower topped with a cross.
      • If driving on Lansdowne from the west turn right at the church sign.

By Public Transit

        • Take the Number 7 bus called Lansdowne West.
        • From the east get off the bus at the Clonsilla intersection just before the traffic lights. Cross Lansdowne Street at the lights then cross the road that goes to Holy Cross School. 300 metres farther along Lansdowne you will see the Calvary Church sign at the driveway that leads to the church. The Main Entrance/Sanctuary is at the back of the building.
        • From the west get off the bus at the sign for Calvary Church. Walk up the driveway and follow the directions toward the Main Entrance/Sanctuary at the back of the building.

Parking

      • There is lots of parking to the south and east sides of the church.
      • There are 12 accessible parking spaces on the east side.
      • Four parking attendants will be ready to help you find a parking spot.

Accessibility

      • Accessible entry – through either set of double glass doors. There are no steps to worry about.
      • Accessible seating – The 3 main doors to the auditorium are accessible by a ramp and allow access to the whole room if you can manage one step at a time. There are railings to help you go down each step. But there are lots of seats at the back and sides without using any steps at all. Or you may enter through the door at the end of the east hallway. There is a shorter ramp to the seats on that side and you will be closer to the accessible washrooms.
      • Accessible washrooms for men and women – are in the east hallway close to the “Calvary Kids” sign.
      • Service dogs are welcome. Please call 705-745-1820 to arrange seating where your dog will have room to relax.
      • Support persons who accompany a person with a disability are eligible for a complimentary ticket. Please phone 705-745-1820 for the ticket and to arrange seating.

Emmanuel United Church
534 George Street North (at McDonnel)

Emmanuel United Church is the venue for the holiday concerts of the Peterborough Singers.

By Car

          • From highway 115 exit at Television Road. Drive north to the 4-way stop sign and turn left onto Parkhill Road. After crossing over the canal AND the river turn left onto George Street.

or

          • From highway 115 exit at The Parkway. Drive north to the ‘T’ intersection and turn right onto Clonsilla which will twist and turn into Charlotte Street. Turn left onto Aylmer Street and drive 6 more blocks to London Street. Turn right.

By Public Transit

          • If you are coming by city bus take number 11 called “Water” or number 6 “Sherbrooke.” They stop at the McDonnel Street intersection on both George and Water streets. All other buses stop at the Bus Depot on Simcoe Street which is 4 blocks from Emmanuel Church.
          • The church is located at the north-east corner of the George Street and McDonnel Street intersection.

Parking

There is a great deal of parking around the church. Parking for concerts is available:

          • Behind City Hall (enter from Water Street). This parking lot is not available Monday nights.
          • In the parking lot of the Professional Offices at 555 George Street across from the church (accessible from London Street or George Street).
          • On George Street itself (both sides).
          • In the PCVS Parking lot (accessible from McDonnel Street).
          • On London Street (both sides).

The entry doors are at the west side of the church facing George Street.

Accessibility

          • Accessible entry – please use the elevator located to the left and around the corner from the main doors. An usher will be there to help you. The elevator goes to the basement and main sanctuary only, not the balcony.
          • Accessible seating – please call 705-745-1820 to arrange seating for yourself and your group.
          • Accessible washroom for women – take the elevator down one floor to the basement. Turn left when you exit the elevator and go through the door. After a few metres turn left again through another door. The washroom is on your right.
          • Accessible washroom for men – take the elevator down one floor to the basement. Turn right as soon as you exit the elevator.
          • Service dogs are welcome. Please call 705-745-1820 to arrange seating where your dog will have room to relax.

Murray Street Baptist Church

Murray Street Baptist Church is the venue for the Un-Concert.

          • All other buses stop at the Bus Depot on Simcoe Street which is 3 blocks from Murray Street Baptist Church.
          • The church is located between Aylmer Street and George Street.

Parking

There is some parking in the City parking lot off Brock Street, just across from the FreshCo supermarket. There is also parking on George Street (both sides). There is no parking on Murray Street.

Entry doors are at the front and back of the church.

          • Accessible seating – please call 705-745-1820 to arrange seating for yourself and your group.
          • Accessible washroom – there is an accessible washroom on the same level as the sanctuary just outside the small door at the front left of the sanctuary.
