It’s both a wonderful double bill and a benefit concert: the Peterborough Singers perform Vivaldi’s Gloria and Fauré’s Requiem on Monday, June 13 at 7 p.m. at Murray Street Baptist Church. All proceeds will help people in our own Peterborough community.

Guest conductor Christine Slevan is at the podium with Peterborough Singers Artistic Director Syd Birrell at the organ. Our soloists are soprano Shannon McCracken and bass Jonathan Leibich. The choir itself will include guest choristers, with singers from the All Saints Anglican Church choir.

The Peterborough Singers are grateful for the support our audience has shown us during the pandemic and would like to do our best to offer support to others. All ticket sales (and musician fees) from this concert will be donated to the Brock MissionYES Shelter for Youth and Families, and Kawartha Food Share.

Tickets are available through the Peterborough Singers website. Please note: while proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the above charities, any additional donations will receive an income tax receipt from the Peterborough Singers.

Join us for an evening of glorious classical music!
