Question: What’s Your Favourite Messiah Moment?

Answer: That’s a tough choice! But if you’d like to weigh in please do — the Peterborough Singers’ Facebook page is open to suggestions. There are of course many possibilities, from the Hallelujah and Amen choruses to the tenor soloist singing Comfort Ye or the soprano with Rejoice Greatly O Daughter of Zion. Handel’s Messiah truly does have many magnificent moments.

Come hear for yourself: the choir, led by Syd Birrell, will be joined by Ian Sadler at the organ, trumpeters Paul Otway and Doug Sutherland, timpanist Stan Ewing, Peterborough Children’s Chorus, and four superb vocal soloists: Lesley Bouza (soprano), Lillian Brooks (mezzo soprano), Joshua Wales (tenor) and Graham Robinson (bass).
